A new NBN compliant socket and insert is then installed, labelled and tested.
Often it’s more cost effective to start with fresh cable than it is to locate a hidden fault. Removal of bridge taps must also be completed to ACMA standards. These state that only one join is permissible in the connecting cable between the property boundary and the NBN wall socket. Too many joins in the cables contributes to poor internet performance.
